Week 1 — Published Video
Good news! I finished the video and it’s currently being uploaded to Youtube. Even better news! I’m almost at 700 views!! I remember trying to end 2019 with 500 views and here I am a few days later and almost at my next milestone of 1k views. T hank you all for the support. Check out the video here:
I spent most of the day today with the family so other than editing the video and reading my chapters for today, I didn’t get much done. Editing was really fun this time around partly because I changed up the style of the video. Since those new privacy laws, I decided to make my videos as generic as possible, but still educational, fun and entertaining. I’m really hoping that this new formula works because I plan on making the rest of my videos in a similar fashion. Tomorrow I start the prep work for my 3rd video. . . I can’t wait. Tomorrow, I also go back to work so this will really test my ability to focus on work and on this side hustle. So far I don’t personally feel like I’ve had to really put in a lot of hours into the side hustle, so I should be able to handle both well. My only concern is that I work a good 10–15 hours of overtime per week which could be used for my side hustle. Luckily, my overtime hasn’t been approved yet so for the foreseeable future, I’ll be working less and more on my hustle. . . I hope.
Short one for today. I mainly wanted to get this out there today since I finished my goal for the week on time. I did manage to read 4 chapters of the 4 books I’m reading. Similar to yesterday, I’m learning so much in each and I can’t wait to start applying some of the things I’m learning at work. Tomorrow I’ll post of the changes I made and how I felt they were received by my team. Stay tuned!
