The Importance of Creating a Brand

We’ve been publishing a lot of Scratch tutorials but under my wife’s name. Behind the scenes we’ve been working on our Brand and Logo. I’m happy to introduce you to Rogers Tech Tutorials . . . or RTT. Under this brand, we’re going to be publishing a plethora of tech related tutorials to teach the community about all the things that we are so passionate about. We are going to strive to bring you quality content that will hopefully improve your life.

We are also gong to be working on a banner which we’ll include as our cover art for the Youtube Channel and on wherever else we decide we need a large banner. Additionally, we are going to be working on some sort of animation that we can play either at the beginning of our videos or wherever it makes sense to use.

Overall, we think that by creating our content under an actual brand, we’ll be able to appeal to a larger group of people and we will look a little more professional. I’m excited to grow our brand and be the source for thousands of people to come learn about technology and programming.

Today is a short one. Hope you like the new logo and I can’t wait to continue to create more content. We’ve hit a bit of a snag with our project videos so we are currently trying to figure out how we are going to proceed. I think at this point we are going to pivot away from the project videos and go deeper into how Scratch works and explain how to get the most of this amazing tool. We are really hoping that teachers and parents can learn how to utilize this development tool and enable students everywhere to get introduced to programming.
