First, thank you to everyone that’s been reading along. The amount of support I’ve been getting is just overwhelming. It’s Friday night and I wanted to take some time to reflect a little of what’s been going on and where I plan on going next week.

On December 4th, I decided I wanted to document my process/progress of going from an idea to a functioning side hustle. Here I am, roughly 5 weeks later and I can honestly say that I’m enjoying it a lot. Waking up every morning to read/work and edit/publish videos and blogs right before going to sleep is not the most thrilling work. But I do it nonetheless because I really want to grow both personally and professionally.

As each day passes, I realize that I have a lot to learn and improve on. I’m constantly spending time analyzing how others are mastering their craft and seeing what works. With that said, I’ve learned that having a good title is super valuable. I obviously didn’t do such a good job with this title, but it’s better than Week 2 — Plan X? What I’m thinking is that every day, whatever I’m working on should have some sort of purpose / cause so that I can appropriately have a catchy title. Today I researched the types of titles people were using on the more popular Scratch videos. So, I wanted to dedicate today’s blog to talking about titles!

Okay, I think you get the point. Basically, going forward, my blogs should be a little more interesting because I’m going to make every effort to make sure I share the one valuable thing that I learned for that day. This should motivate me to try a little harder while making better incremental progress.

Overall, we’ve posted 4 Scratch videos that have been received well. We are going to continue to post more Scratch videos until we have an entire arsenal of Scratch videos. Today I was asked why Scratch. My answer was that it’s closely related to my STEAM goal that I set for myself and it’s an area where a lot of teachers/schools/parents are interested in. I’m confident that if I create enough valuable content on the subject, people will come to consume. We do plan on expanding beyond Scratch, but for now, my objective is to make 50 interrelated Scratch videos. Let’s see how this goes.

Tomorrow I’m recording a project video. I was able to get everything but a garden stake so I’m going to shop around for that in the morning. I’m nervous for this next project because the project itself appears to be challenging. Hopefully I can make it fun and exciting. I’m really liking my new format for the project videos and have received some feedback on how to make them better. Check it out this weekend!
