Accomplishing Your Goals — Even When you are Tired
Boy did I have a rough day today. Woke up accomplishing so many things and then I got to work. Worked super hard on fixing this major issue and after many hours of intense focus and collaboration, finally got it all done. Except I got really tired by the end. Then I came home and saw an email from one of my college professors. She reached out to me asking for some information and I spent an hour on the phone with her catching up. I really needed this time away because for once, my mind wasn’t thinking about work or my hustle or anything like that. It was really nice to just get away for a second and distract myself.
But now, it’s late in the evening and I can barely keep my eyes open. Rather than doing sloppy work, I’m going to call it and make every effort to wake up earlier than usual to edit the next project video before my wife wakes up to record the next project. Then, once she’s done with that, I’ll start editing that video . . . or maybe I’ll start working on a digital version of our new logo for the Scratch Tutorials.
To catch everyone up, this morning, the wife and I collaborated on what the logo and channel art should look like for our tutorials channel. We decided to go with the name Rogers Tech Tutorials. Don’t ask why Rogers. My wife likes it and they say a happy wife is a happy life. We are going to use a gear as the background and then have the lettering RTT overlayed. I think it’s a better use of my time to create that logo tomorrow morning while I’m still refreshed and full of energy.
See you all tomorrow. I’m almost at 1k views on my blogs. Thanks to everyone following along. I hope you have enjoyed reading about my daily progress and struggles as much as I’ve enjoyed documenting them!
