27 Part Journey to Starting a Side Hustle — Day Twenty-Three
I haven’t really been able to do anything with all the information I found a couple days ago. Most of yesterday and today has been spent with the family which is good, but not good when trying to launch a side hustle. I did manage to share my ideas and progress with my family and received positive feedback from them.
Today’s chapter is about revising your business and taking what works and removing what isn’t working. The first question to ask is if your service is making money. As much as I hate typing this out, I have yet to make something tangible for my service. I got a lot of research done, but I really need to start putting it all together and hit that publish button. The next question is how can you improve. After all my research, I realized that there is a lot more my service can be once I get it off the ground. I’ve documented those options and fully plan on pursuing them once I get the basics out the door.
My plan for today is to pick a project that I’ll be using as my test project. Using that project, I’ll lay out the lesson plan and start to record the three videos. By tomorrow, I’ll be posting the videos and the lesson plan. I don’t care if they aren’t up to the quality that I want my overall service to be at, I just want to get something out at this point. I’ve been siting on this for far too long and I really do now know what I want so I literally just have to put two and two together.
My only challenge right now is that I left a lot of my notes at my parents house so I’ll just have to mine for those notes again. I took hand written notes, but some of the digital samples I captured over the last couple days are not with me. Shouldn’t be a big deal, but just something I’ll need to be weary of as I get over this hump.
I’m almost at 400 views!! Thank you all for the support. I’m going to push myself really hard over the next 30 hours to make sure I deliver on my promise of uploading 3 videos and 1 lesson plan. I’ll see you all tomorrow.
